Every stage, guided by people who have built it before

AI advice often ends in a roadmap that stalls before anything reaches daily use. Ours comes from a team that has delivered more than 50 software and AI projects and knows what implementation involves.

  1. A free first conversation

A free call to go through what you want AI to do, how your systems and data look today, and which parts of that are realistic. You leave with our view of where AI fits, and we will say plainly when an assessment is not worth paying for.

  2. Agreed before work starts

Before the engagement begins you get a written scope: which processes and systems are reviewed, who from your team is involved, how long it takes and the fixed price. Every recommendation that follows carries its own cost estimate and expected payback period.

  3. Delivered in fixed stages

Engagements differ in length and in what they cover, but each starts from how the business runs today, with the people responsible for each process and the data and systems behind them. The work is split into phases, and nothing is invoiced until a phase has been signed off.

  4. Implementation on your terms

You decide who builds what the roadmap sets out, whether that is our engineering team, your existing technology partner or your own developers, and whoever takes it on receives the specifications, architecture decisions and data work in full, since everything produced during the engagement belongs to you.

AI and automation work delivered

The recommendations made in a consulting engagement carry more weight when they come from a team that has also built the systems behind them.

The tech

We assess what you already run rather than starting from a list of tools we prefer, and anything we recommend is chosen on merit.

  • Workplace and document systems

Email, files and internal knowledge usually sit in Microsoft 365, SharePoint or Google Workspace, which makes them the first place to look when a process depends on finding something.

  • CRM systems

Where a sales or service process runs on Salesforce or HubSpot, the work usually means reading and writing records through the API rather than replacing anything you already have.

  • ERP and finance systems

Dynamics 365 Business Central, NetSuite, Sage and Xero carry the orders and the accounts, which makes them the systems most often reached at the end of a process.

  • Language models

Which model suits a task is rarely obvious, so part of the work is comparing OpenAI, Anthropic and open models against your own data, your budget and your privacy rules.

  • Cloud hosting

Where AI runs follows how you already buy software, so AWS or Azure for most work, and Supabase where a smaller build does not warrant the weight of either.

  • Data platforms and warehouses

Most AI work depends on records being consistent first, which is why PostgreSQL, Snowflake and BigQuery come up whenever the groundwork has to be assessed.

  • Team and collaboration tools

Slack, Microsoft Teams and Notion are where informal AI use tends to start, so reviewing what your team already does there is part of any honest assessment.

  • In-house and legacy systems

Bespoke tools with no vendor behind them can still be reached through an API or a direct database connection, which is often where the useful data sits.

  • And much more

These are the systems that come up most often, rather than the limit of what we work with. If your operation runs on something else, including software nobody supports any more, bring it to the first call.

Everything you might want to know before starting a project with us.

  • If your team can point to a process that takes up time but cannot say which part of it AI should handle, that is the point where consulting earns its place. The same applies where AI projects look too complex or impractical because the right data infrastructure is not in place.

  • Every department is reviewed, covering how your team uses AI today, where it could be used to greater effect, and what your data infrastructure would need before wider implementation, including any migration work. Security risks in current use are assessed too. It runs over two to three weeks and ends in written findings.

  • Your workflows are mapped end to end, then each one is assessed for how AI could lead the process rather than assist it. The result is a roadmap ordered by value and effort, with tools, platforms and models named for each step, and costs and timescales you can budget against.

  • We can, and it is your decision. Our engineering team has delivered more than 50 software and AI projects and can implement what the engagement recommends. Your existing technology partner or your own developers can take it on instead, and everything produced belongs to you.

  • Usually, yes. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Xero and the major cloud platforms can all be connected to, and bespoke in-house systems can be reached through an API or a direct database connection. Establishing what is reachable is part of the audit.

  • Whoever runs the processes being reviewed, for about an hour each, plus someone with authority over systems and data access. For an audit that usually means a handful of conversations spread across two to three weeks. Nobody needs to prepare documentation in advance, and interviews are scheduled around operational commitments.

  • Yes, and that is often the sensible arrangement. Your supplier knows your systems, and our role covers the AI-specific decisions: what is worth building, which models and infrastructure suit it, and what good delivery looks like. Recommendations are written so another team can act on them, and we will brief them directly.

  • That is the common case, and it does not stop the engagement. Weak data infrastructure is one of the most frequent causes of failed AI projects, so the audit diagnoses what needs fixing and how much of it has to happen before the first project. Often that groundwork becomes the first piece of work.
