Our client operates a wholesale distribution business and needed to move their ordering, driver coordination and account management out of spreadsheets and phone calls and onto a proper digital platform. CodeLeap designed and built the platform end to end — mobile app for drivers, web platform for accounts, and the operations dashboard that ties it all together.

Our client is a fast-growing food supply chain technology company connecting restaurants and food businesses with their wholesale distributors across six markets in Europe and North America. Their platform replaces the phone calls, text messages and handwritten notes that wholesale food ordering has traditionally relied on with structured digital orders. CodeLeap partnered with them during an early scaling phase to enhance their mobile application and build the backend platform beneath it, giving the product the technical foundations it needed to grow from an early-stage tool into a system now used by more than 30,000 distributors processing over a million orders a month.

Challenge
Wholesale distribution operations depend on reliably coordinating people, vehicles and orders at scale, but many businesses in the sector still run on a patchwork of manual processes, spreadsheets and legacy tools that break down as the business grows. Our client wanted to consolidate their ordering, driver management and account management into a single modern platform that could scale with the business, reduce operational overhead, and give both their customers and their operations team the visibility they needed to work efficiently.
