NicheCom produces floorplans at scale for estate agents. We designed and built a working prototype of an iPad app for their field surveyors — measure and draw a property in a single site visit — to prove the concept before any rollout.

NicheCom produces floorplans at industrial scale for estate agents across the country. Their surveyors were capturing measurements on site and redrawing plans later at a desk — a two-step process that invited transcription errors and slowed every job down. They asked CodeLeap for a native iPad tool that lets a surveyor draw a measured, validated plan on the spot.

What we built

Native iPad drawing experience

A fast, touch-first canvas built for drawing on site — responsive enough to sketch a full property while walking it, not something to wrestle with back at a desk.
Grid & line snapping

Walls snap to a grid and to each other, so plans come out square and clean without fiddly manual alignment.
Laser-measure integration

The app pairs directly with Disto laser measures, so real-world dimensions flow into the drawing instead of being read off a screen and typed in.
One-tap PDF export

A finished plan exports to a clean, branded PDF in a single tap — ready to hand to the agent before the surveyor has left the property.
