Simple PT
Personal trainers lose hours each week to managing schedules, invoices and payments by hand. Simple PT put all three in one app — clients book from a trainer's live availability and pay from a pre-loaded wallet. CodeLeap designed and built it end to end, shipping the MVP to iOS and Android in 2 months.

Simple PT set out to take the admin out of personal training: no more juggled texts to arrange sessions, no chasing payments after them. The budget was tight, so we were honest about what that meant — we planned the build in stages, shipped a deliberately lean MVP first to test the concept, and deferred the paid extras to later iterations. Two months from kick-off, the app was built for iOS and Android in React Native on a Django backend, shaped by test versions sent to the client throughout — and it shipped to both app stores.

Scheduling built from scratch
A custom scheduling interface gives trainers a full weekly view with repeatable patterns and ad-hoc overrides — set your usual week once, then adjust any day — and lets them manage clients' bookings and invoices on their behalf.

A wallet with no processor fees
After weighing in-app payments, card processing and PayPal, the client chose a virtual wallet topped up by bank transfer — the simplest option for an MVP, and one that cut payment-processor fees out entirely, by design.

Booking in a few taps
Clients check their trainer's live availability in an interactive calendar, book a session — including repeats — and pay from their wallet. The trainer is notified and the transaction processes itself; nobody texts anybody to confirm.

A 2-month MVP
From kick-off to both app stores in 2 months: React Native on the front, Python and Django on AWS behind it, with Firebase and Sentry watching over it — a lean, well-scoped first version instead of a year of planning.
