Online mediation platform
Dispute resolution moved online
A dispute-resolution provider came to CodeLeap to move mediation online. We built the platform end to end — guided dispute intake, an AI mediation assistant, controlled invitations and an admin panel — and took it from build to public launch.
What we did CodeLeap built the guided intake workflows, secure party invitations and mediator control dashboard, along with an AI mediation assistant whose behaviour is driven by tunable prompts, so the provider can adjust how it participates without a code change.
Mediation, moved online. Mediation depends on getting the right people into an orderly, private conversation and keeping it on record, which email and phone calls do badly. A dispute-resolution provider partnered with CodeLeap to build a platform running the whole process online: parties open a dispute through a guided intake, an AI assistant helps move the conversation forward, and the mediator manages everything from one panel. CodeLeap built it end to end and launched it.
Product features
-
Guided dispute intake
Each party opens a dispute through a step-by-step flow capturing who is involved, whether they have legal representation and what the dispute is worth. Every case therefore starts as a structured, complete record rather than a description in an email.
-
AI mediation assistant
An AI assistant works inside each dispute's chat, drafting and prompting responses to help move the conversation forward. Its behaviour is driven by prompts the team can tune, so mediators shape how it participates rather than accepting whatever it does by default.
-
Invitations and access control
Mediators bring each side into a case through personalised invitation links with password protection gating entry. The right people join the right dispute, and nobody sees a matter they are not party to.
-
Admin control panel
Mediators run every case from one panel, managing disputes, parties and the AI's prompts in a single place. The whole process stays visible and under control instead of scattered across inboxes.
Challenge
A mediation is a confidential process with a defined shape, and moving it online means reproducing both. Access has to be tightly controlled, because a party seeing a matter they are not involved in is a serious failure, and the conversation has to stay on the record in a way a thread of emails never quite does. Introducing AI into that setting raised a further question. An assistant participating in a sensitive negotiation cannot behave unpredictably, so the provider needed control over how it responded rather than a black box operating on its own judgement.
Solution
CodeLeap built the platform end to end and took it to public launch. Disputes open through a guided intake that captures the parties, representation and value up front, invitations bring each side in through personalised links with password protection, and the mediator runs every case from a single admin panel. The AI assistant sits inside each dispute's chat, drafting and prompting to keep things moving, with its behaviour governed by prompts the provider's own team can tune. What used to be a slow trail of emails and calls is now one private record of each dispute, from the first invitation through to resolution.

SBUSBU is a UK energy broker placing gas and electricity contracts for business customers, in a market where the deal goes to whoever quotes first and follows up hardest. Their chance to win each customer sat in Salesforce as a contract end date with nothing acting on it, so CodeLeap automated everything between that date and the signed contract. Within three months the team was generating five times the qualified leads, without adding headcount.

WeSnagA major UK construction company ran snagging on spreadsheets, paper checklists and manual follow-ups, which could not scale to dozens of contractors, hundreds of units and thousands of defects. CodeLeap built a platform digitising the whole defect lifecycle, replacing hundreds of hours of manual coordination and leading to further work extending it.
