AI Quality Control Specialists

Award-winning AI quality control specialists building systems that check work as it happens, spotting the faults, missed steps and drifting numbers people only notice once something has gone wrong.

Every step, with engineers who have built this before

The worry with automated checking is that it flags everything or misses the one fault that matters. We have delivered more than 50 tech projects across multiple sectors, and we guide you through every stage of the process.

  1. A free first call

We start with a free call to go through what you check today, whether that is physical product inspections or numbers on a business dashboard. You leave with our view of what an AI model could take on, and we will say plainly when automation is not the better answer.

  2. Costs, savings and payback

Before anything is built and before you commit any money, you get a written breakdown of what the work will cost, what it should save in scrap, rework or faults reaching a customer, and how long it takes to pay for itself.

  3. Built in agreed stages

We agree the stages of the build with you before we start, and the first runs the new checks alongside your existing ones so you can compare the two before anything depends on it. You pay for each stage once it is finished and working.

  4. Support once it is live

We stay on hand after launch to retrain the system as your products, processes and tolerances change, fix anything that breaks and add new checks. All code and intellectual property belongs to you on payment, so continued support is not a condition of keeping it.

Quality checks we have automated

Every one of these replaced a check that a person was doing by eye or by hand, and could not do at scale.

  • Vehicle imaging platform

A company producing vehicle photography at scale needed every image to look consistent, at a volume where no team could check each one by eye. Over a multi-year engagement, CodeLeap built the capture apps and computer vision pipeline that standardise, enhance and quality-check every shot automatically.

  • Medical test scanning app

Colour-change screening tests are read by eye, which makes the result subjective and hard to track over time. CodeLeap built a computer vision algorithm that reads the test objectively from a photograph taken on a phone, together with the apps around it.

  • Market prediction platform

A financial analysis firm had a proven chart-reading method that only one analyst could run, taking hours a day and capping how many instruments the firm could cover. CodeLeap turned that method into a machine-learning platform serving daily predictions through an API.

What our clients are saying

Real reviews from clients we have delivered for, on Clutch and elsewhere.

  • The enthusiasm, understanding of our mission, and passion from the first few minutes of the call were the deciding factors in choosing CodeLeap. Within 3 months of our app launching, we had over 1,500 downloads, appeared in leading publications from Forbes, The Metro, Marie Claire, Women's Fitness and many more, and started raising further investment.
    Charlie CEO, Becon
  • They are incredibly diligent in the quality of work they produce, and go above and beyond when it comes to solving issues faced within the project, and to ensure we meet strict project deadlines. You never feel like you are one of many clients, and they ensure they are always there to help with any need you have, no matter how big or small.
    Amelia Parmiter Marketing Manager, Marble
  • CodeLeap made me feel like my options were limitless in terms of what could be achieved, which was critical to me as we were creating something very unique. I'm glad I chose Codeleap over a large corporation as the personable approach resulted in a smooth and pleasant experience.
    James CEO, Bearable
  • Working with CodeLeap was a very good experience from both a professional and personal point of view. These people know what they are doing and are both efficient and clever and made a good partner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CodeLeap.
    John CEO, Neurometrics-Diab
  • CodeLeap adds so much value and goes above and beyond what I expected. CodeLeap's team is very flexible with all the different requests we've put in front of them. They've also been great with the whole business side of things, and being able to forecast for this industry is really helpful. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with their work — they've been incredibly helpful.

Everything you might want to know before starting a project with us.

  • A single automated check built end to end and put into production usually starts at £5,000, and a programme covering several checks starts at around £10,000. What moves the figure is how many examples of a fault exist already, how the result has to be delivered and how many lines or sites are involved. A feasibility study costs from £2,000.

  • It catches different faults rather than simply more of them. A model never tires, so it holds the same standard on the last item of a shift as the first, and it notices slow drift in measurements that nobody would spot day to day. Rare faults it has never seen remain harder, which is why people stay in the process.

  • Usually not. Most of this work runs on cameras, sensors and systems already in place, reading what they produce rather than replacing them. New hardware only comes in where the existing view is too poor to judge from, and that is established during the feasibility study rather than after the build has started.

  • A single check usually takes eight to twelve weeks from agreed scope to live use, with a feasibility study beforehand running one to two weeks. A programme across several lines or teams runs in phases over several months. Gathering enough examples of the faults you care about is what most often stretches the timeline.

  • The system is retrained rather than rebuilt. A model learns what acceptable looks like from examples, so a new product, a changed tolerance or a different supplier means feeding it fresh examples and testing again. That work is planned in from the start, and the tools to do it are handed over with everything else.
